Description

We're looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an immediate travel opening in Quincy, IL.
The right LPN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.

As an LPN in a clinic, you will provide nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services. You�ll work closely with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient and compassionate care delivery.

As an LPN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and medical histories
  • Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers
  • Assist with minor clinical procedures and wound care
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and health maintenance
  • Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens as required
  • Document nursing care and patient responses accurately in medical records
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff
  • Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
  • Support patient scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an LPN in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.

LPNs in clinics should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
